Each relocating executive is assigned his or her own Move Manager. This single point of contact is essential in a successful relocation. The Trowbridge Move Managers make the initial contact with the transferee, gather preliminary information, schedule site surveys, access relocation needs, communicate with Human Resource departments and plan the relocation. Throughout the move, the Move Manager continues contact with the transferee, van operator, packers and all related parties. After the move is complete, the Trowbridge Move Manager follows up with the transferee to ensure all of their needs have been met successfully.

For relocating spouses, we can help coordinate career counseling, resume' updating, and local company research.
THE TROWBRIDGE MOVE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Obtain customer information from account:
- Name, address, home and work telephone numbers, destination address, tentative move dates.
- Confirm policy authorizations, such as weight limits, automobiles allowed, services allowed (unpacking, appliances).
Call customer and do "Pre-estimate" call.
- Confirm address
- Get destination address, if known
- Get as much information as possible about move; how many rooms, what appliances are going, whether a car will be moved, any possible third party needed, and tentative move dates.
- Explain move process from packing to delivery. Explain origin survey, if applicable.
- Ask customer to call with any questions at any time during move. Make sure they have the toll free number as well as the local number.
Create file and contact origin agent if move is not originating in Ohio. Request survey from origin agent.
- Send pre-move packet to customer.
- Includes Pre-Planned Moving Guide, Rights and Responsibilities When you Move, Protecting Your Belongings, and a high value inventory.
- When survey is received from origin agent, work up estimate; send estimate to account.
- Get authorization from account if any special authorization needed for crating or other services. Register move with United. Schedule any third party needed.
- Send letter of confirmation to customer.
- Contact customer 24 hours before packing to confirm.
- Call customer to check on packing, confirm load day information.
- Call customer on day of load to check on loading. Confirm delivery dates.
- Call customer 24 hours before delivery to confirm.
- Call customer after delivery to check on quality of move. Start claims process, if needed.
